Players registered before April 1st will receive a $25 discount and early equipment hand out/ jersey sizing.
There is typically a voluntary camp in July that will be no cost to players registered prior to June 1st.
Cost: Registration is $125 per player, if registration is completed before April 1st, the cost will be reduced to $100 per player. On April 1st registration will be the full $125.
If you are registering more than one player in your household, you will receive a $15 discount on each registration fee. To receive the discount, all players must be registered during the same transaction.
Games: Season is typically 9 weeks with a one week bye (8 games) All games are primarily on Saturdays, starting in August. The game times are typically:
Practices: Monday through Thursday from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Pecatonica Middle School. Coaches at individual levels may go down to three days a week as we get into the season and also will shorten up practice time when it starts to get dark earlier in the evening. Practices are begin near the end of July.
Gear:
Sports Physical- A yearly sports physical is required for Football. This will need to be turned in to the Coordinator before the start of practice.
Volunteers-
It takes many volunteers to operate the football program and to be able to host games. In an effort to ensure we are able to continue to host games, we are requiring each player have one supportive adult volunteer on their behalf or there will be a $50 fee billed to their SportsEngine Account.
This will be tracked and more information will be sent out closer to the start of the season. There are many volunteer opportunities including concessions, gate, coaches, scoreboard operators, chain gang, filming, team mom, and postgame clean-up crew.

Please fill out the Coaching Application if you are interested. If you have coached previously, you need to apply each season. All coaches and assistants will have a background check performed prior to being able to coach the kids. No exceptions. Coaches must be approved by the PSA Coordinator.
The Registration "Hornets Football" is not currently available.
Football Coordinator
Age is determined as of 8-1 of the current year. The NIFC is age/weight based, grade level is irrelevant.
